Industrial Painter


Snelling Staffing is seeking an Industrial Painter for our location in Bensenville, IL. The position involves applying paint to surfaces of product of various sizes, utilizing high volume low pressure paint guns.

Schedule: Monday-Friday 7:00am-3:30pm

Pay Rate: $15-$18 per hour (optional overtime available)

Responsibilities and Duties of the Industrial Painter

  • Use proper paints, such as enamel, lacquer or epoxy, and solvents for units requiring painting.
  • Adjust spray guns and/or air pressure to obtain required finish.
  • Check work piece surfaces for dirt, moisture, rust or scratches and repair and rework minor surface imperfections.
  • Operate spray gun to paint products with uniform finish coatings of paint in various colors and textures to achieve proper quality level for type of product.
  • Apply primer coatings when required.
  • Visually check parts and subassemblies for proper preliminary preparations and prepare surface by cleaning as necessary.
  • Touch up parts as necessary.
  • Maintain orderly and clean work area in compliance with Company safety requirements.

Requirements of the Industrial Painter

  • Comfortable working in confined paint booth for ALL of the day.
  • 1 year experience OR INTEREST IN LEARNING (will train)
